Carriage rides and pony rides were open to all although the queues were so long that -with horse and pony welfare in mind — many people were disappointed. The majority of the works will be undertaken overnight, however their will be some off peak daytime works being completed.

Hartley then also hosted a charity BBQ night in aid of Well Connected in Augustwhich was really great fun and there were some fantastic raffle prizes were on offer — including a bottle of 10 year aged port and a trip on a catamaran off the Cornwall coast.
Free refreshments are available, with donations to Well Connected. I am delighted and proud for Wendy that she has been recognised in this way — it is really well deserved.
Firstly signage was placed at the end of Ridgeway adjoining Christchurch Road. The British Team will consist of 6 riders with learning disabilities from across GB. The health roadshow for local families will bring together a variety of faculties from Plymouth University under one roof, including dentistry, podiatry, optometry and dietetics, to provide health advice, support and information alongside practical help.
Thanks to Dorothy at Houlls Horses and Hounds for her hospitality. Also noted were the efforts of the many residents who mow the verges outside their houses, the smartness of business premises and the All Saints Churchyard. Her career has spanned finance, PR, customer service and operations. Very interesting and learned loads of new things.
We have already partnered again to arrange a charity bike ride in Maywhich will raise further funds for the cause. Three new members joined up on the evening. How can you help?
